What’s New in GameOver? Discover Our Milestones and Next Steps

The second newsletter of the GameOver project has just been released, marking a full year of collaboration, tools development, and meaningful progress in tackling problematic online gaming in schools.

In its pages, you’ll find an overview of key project milestones, including the second transnational meeting that took place in Sofia. Partners from Lithuania, Greece, Spain, and Bulgaria met in person to review the project progress and fine-tune upcoming deliverables. At the heart of the discussions were the Early Detection Instrument (EDI), the draft versions of the three Toolkits (for students, teachers, and parents), and the structure of the upcoming Online Training Programme for professionals working in prevention and education.

The newsletter also features the release of the project’s first promotional video, designed to raise awareness about problematic gaming and promote healthy digital habits for learners aged 12–16. With the motto “Switch off addiction – Power up life!”, the video introduces the aims and impact of GameOver in a clear and accessible way.
