Our First Newsletter Is Out – Catch Up with GameOver!

We’re excited to share with you the very first newsletter of the GameOver project—and it’s full of fresh updates, insights, and inspiration!

This first edition gives readers a lively introduction to who we are, what we aim to do, and why it matters. You’ll get a quick look at our four-country partnership, discover the main goals of the project, and find out how we’re planning to support students, teachers, and families across Europe in building healthier digital habits.

One of the key issues we tackle is problematic online gaming—a growing challenge for many teenagers, especially those aged 12 to 16. Through the newsletter, you’ll learn how GameOver plans to support early detection, raise awareness, and provide practical tools for prevention.

You’ll also get a sneak peek at our first field activities:

✔️ Teachers and students across Lithuania, Greece, Spain, and Bulgaria shared their experiences with online gaming.

✔️ Their valuable input is already helping us shape our upcoming tool: the Early Detection Instrument (EDI).

Curious about what’s coming next?

The newsletter gives you a taste of our upcoming deliverables, including:

✔️ Interactive toolkits for classrooms and families
✔️ Online training for educators
✔️ Targeted support for students at risk

This is just the beginning—there’s much more to come!

Read the full newsletter and stay connected with our mission to support digital wellbeing in schools.

And don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Instagram and share our news with your networks. Together, we can say GameOver to digital overload—and hello to balance.
